Numero Uno, UFC 254 And An Introduction

Introduction:

Well here we are, welcome to our blog we hope you are ready for some hilarious faceoffs between Aidan (aka Dersy or Ders), Alex (MR. Shtew), and me Jack (or Jbo). Our first faceoff is going to be centered around the biggest UFC Fight of the year, Kabib Nurmagawhatever VS Justin THE HIGHLIGHT Gaethje happening tomorrow. This incredibly hyped-up fight is to solidify the lightweight division champion with Kabib holding the current belt and Gaethje holding the interim belt during Khabib’s absence from a fight earlier this year. I am going to run you through strong suits of both fighters, expectations for this fight, and finally our faceoff and challenge this week.

Fighter Profile: Khabib Nurmagomedov

Starting first with the favorite Khabib, a fierce Russian man with an undefeated record of 28-0, he is a killer. Many of you may know him from the absolute mutilation of Connor McGregor in 2018, with a fourth-round submission finish. The guy is the king of wrestling, I mean he’s stated in interviews that he wrestled bears growing up and has clearly translated that to the UFC with what I believe to be an incredibly boring fight style. Khabib dances around the octagon like a little Russian ballerina as his competitor swings barbarically for the fences trying to get an early knockout. These prancing exhausts his competitors to the point of basically kneeling before him as though he is a king when in reality, he’s a soft little cuddle boy. If this fight is won by Khabib, I can guarantee a spectacle of flip flopping like a wet fish by both fighters with Khabib eventually grabbing an arm, ankle, or neck and squeezing on it like it’s the last bit of his yogurt tube from a McDonalds happy meal.

Fighter Profile: Justin Gaethje

Now onto my guy Gaethje, the Arizona native with a MASSIVE right-hand finishing 19 of his 22 fights by strait knockout in his 22-2-0 career. Quite possibly Khabib’s strongest contender yet, this man has relentless power and determination all the way up to the final bell, although it often doesn’t reach that point. Tony Fergusson was essentially a human punching bag in his last fight taking over 100 punches to the face until an eventual knockout in the 5th and final round. Gaethje is such a perfect contender for this fight, averaging 7.74 significant strikes per minute he, if anyone, is the man that may actually be able to smoke Khabib with a few 1-2 Mayweather’s. Gaethje has never had a fight that hasn’t ended in a knockout (with both of his losses also coming by knockout) so if I had to make any prediction, this fight isn’t going 5 rounds.

Expectations + Losers Challenge:
Now, with a basic understanding of how this fight presents itself and how I feel about it, we move onto the matchup between Aidan (Ders) Alderson and myself. As I have stated I am riding Gaethje, and Aidan will be taking the Bernstein bear, Khabib. This week the loser will be covered in honey followed by the winner having free reign pitching fastballs of flour at him until he is caked as much as an 7th grade girl who has just discovered makeup for the first time. He will then have to run around the Queens Student ghetto whilst being livestreamed on our Instagram for complete and utter humiliation. To learn more about our losers challenges click Here.
